JOBS & CONTRIBUTIONS ON THE ROAD
(Lis cette page en Français, bébé!)
I sometimes write for other blogs, mainly travel blogs, and mainly in English. I also write blogposts for hostels I’m working for thanks to HelpX/Workaway. It’s mostly sharing posts, little chronicles organised around one main theme. It’s a good exercise both for my writing and my English practice. More recently, I had the chance to do some illustration and painting jobs for hostels and nice people I met.
Well, take a walk on the wild side with me on my other projects!
INTERVIEW FOR THE ‘GAZETTE PARTICIPATIVE’ FROM L’ESSENCE DU VOYAGE – IN FRENCH
I started to co-organize workshops about alternative travel with Emilie from L’Essence du Voyage back in January 2019. Since then, her organization has grown and she’s offering workshops all around France about alternative travel, zero waste, Working Holiday Visa, etc. In the September/October/November issue of her ‘Gazette Participative’, I was interviewed about my bicycle trip around my home region of Alsace.
PARTICIPATION TO THE FREE E-BOOK “PAROLES DE PVTISTES” (WORDS OF WHV HOLDERS) – IN FRENCH

After something like two hours on the phone speaking with Floriane from the website PVTistes.net (a French website about the Working Holiday Visa), my stories of my Working Holiday Visas (WHV) in both New Zealand and Taiwan are to be read alongside more than twenty others testimonials! An inspiring and useful little book!

PARTICIPATION TO THE FREE E-BOOK “L’AMOUR EN VOYAGE” (LOVE ON THE ROAD) – IN FRENCH

I was invited by Céline from the blog Voyages d’une plume to share my story about love when you’re travelling. Of course I had to write about how I fall in love every 4 mornings. She gathered a few other stories and published this free e-book!

ART PROJECTS IN ECUADOR
While working for Anna thanks to Workaway in Puerto Cayo, on the Ecuadorian coast, I had the chance to contribute to multiple art projects. From wall painting to wood painting, it’s like Anna offered me a huge playground to express my creativity.

THE GLOBAL VILLAGE PROJECT
I was part of the Global Village Behind the Mountains craft market held in Hualien, Taiwan twice at the beginning of 2018. I was selling postcards of the East Coast of Taiwan that I drew myself and some homemade cookies (called “bredele” in my region of Alsace, France) and chocolate mousse.
The market wanted to feature the foreigners living in Hualien selling handmade products from where they come from: tea from Germany, traditional food from Ivory Coast, jewellery from the UK, etc. The little market was a nice place to meet and share with both foreigners and local about my artwork and the French food.
This awesome experience was made possible thanks to the benevolence of my host, Una, who always encouraged to keep drawing and came up with the postcards idea.
THE WORLD INN DINNER PROJECT
This is one project that I really enjoyed being part of : the World Inn Dinner, an event organised by the hostel I was volunteering for, World Inn in Hualien, Taiwan. They manage to organise a monthly dinner offering guests international cuisine cooked by local chefs with local ingredients. Here are the recipes I took great pleasure to draw:
